Sitting in on a conference call with Philip Meyer (see previous post) the other day got me thinking about the future of journalism and online communication. Technology and the online environment are changing so rapidly that new archetypes are continuously emerging, Meyer said. He told the audience members to monitor these changes and be ready to join the companies that are leading the wave of innovation or to create your own company and start the next wave yourself.
